The hypnosis flywheel for entrepreneurs

This blog is going to be slightly schizophrenic. A review of  “The hypnosis flywheel for entrepreneurs, guaranteed more profit”.

Ricardo Nielsen

I had the pleasure of working with Ricardo Nielsen as part of my #bookin8days service. We started with developing the business plan. Focussing on a target audience, problem definition, not-to-copy, distribution channels, business models and branding. Understanding why we are writing this book. After two enjoyable days in Haarlem, we came up with the hypnosis flywheel, and we had an outline of the book and an introduction.

The book

The premise of the books is straightforward. There are eight interlinked success factors (vision, money, communication, leadership, guts, action, quality, energy), and entrepreneurs get in the way of those success factors because of their limiting beliefs. With hypnosis techniques, you can remove these beliefs. Using techniques such as thinking time, a change matrix, hypnosis bubbles, role analysis and, of course, mapping the limiting believes. Every principle is covered in a chapter, with assignments at the end. A workbook, hypno-hacks and masterclasses support the book.

Potential

I am utterly biased by I think it is awesome. Ricardo now has a unique methodology that is scalable, has a concept that can be stretched (case studies, interviews about the eight success factors, online modules, etc.) and a business model with a lot of potential. It works as a methodology to improve your profitability, but we also found it is perfect as a decision model. Check the eight factors, and you have your answer.

Discipline

I want to claim some of the credit, but this is all Ricardo´s doing. The #bookin8days refers to the 4X2 days I spend with the client at a nice location, preferably in the sun, reviewing progress and giving feedback, but it does need someone with the discipline to write. And that is what Ricardo did. Every week we had a short call on Skype, and every week he delivered. Not all my clients have that discipline (you know who you are).

A year

And still, it took over a year to get it done. At least three drafts per chapter, moving paragraphs at least ten times per chapter, letting go, going back, doing the interviews, thinking about the marketing, at least two drafts of the full manuscript, the editing, the spell checking, the design of the book, the images, the workbook, the printing and now here we are.

Proud

I am super proud to be part of this. And I like to thank Ricardo. He is a pleasure to work with. And a special mention of Annemarie, Ricardo´s partner. Behind every great man stands a great woman.

Order the book

You can order the book here. It is in Dutch. The next step will be an edition in English. That is why we are looking for partners in English speaking countries. A hypnosis and business background is a prerequisite. But if you want a unique model as a business advisor, now is your chance.

Expand your reach

And that is precisely the point of writing a book. It expands your reach far beyond yourself.
