Digital transformation #mindcandy: Dirty data

The future is future fitness. The advantage isn’t prediction. It’s how fast your team can notice and anticipate change and respond.

Dirty data is not a data problem. It’s a decision problem.

Dirty data is anything inaccurate, incomplete, inconsistent, outdated, duplicated, or defined differently across systems, making it unreliable for business use. And it’s everywhere. It can take many forms, such as duplicate records, missing or null values, inconsistent formats, outdated information, invalid entries, or broken relationships between records or conflicting definitions across systems. AI doesn’t fix this. AI amplifies it.

The prompt

If your top three KPIs are wrong by 10–20%, what would you do differently? Discuss this with your team, decide you moves. If you need help, DM me.

How AI is Shaping the Future of Robotics with Low-Code and No-Code Solutions

Low-code/no-code platforms shift robot programming tasks from humans to machines. Rather than requiring extensive coding knowledge and creating new code for each new application, these platforms provide intuitive interfaces that allow users to configure and adapt systems through simple interactions.

Closing the ERP Intelligence-to-Action Gap

Over 70% of ERP initiatives by 2027 are expected to fail in meeting original business goals due to structural issues rather than data quality, highlighting a critical intelligence-to-action gap.

Why circular IT is no longer optional

As geopolitical pressure, resource scarcity and digital demand collide, circularity is moving from sustainability aspiration to strategic necessity. Steve Haskew of Circular Computing explains why designing for circular IT is critical now – and how small procurement shifts can unlock big economic, environmental and social gains.

Management Teams Need AI To Be More Disagreeable

By bringing together multiple AI models, you can configure them up to debate and argue over how to best achieve strategic goals. Just as you would expect humans to do, but as a technological ‘Hive Mind’.

AI at Scale Is an Operating Model Problem, Not a Technology One

Data readiness must precede large-scale AI adoption in order to convert AI from a set of pilots into a predictable, repeatable, organization-wide capability.

In the data management layer, the challenge is to manage the integration of high-volume data inflows from disparate sources, govern the movement and transformation of that data securely and with integrity, and bring that data to a state of readiness for a variety of consumers, most notably those who will apply various artificial intelligence (AI) techniques.
