#Mindcandy: look East

The future is future fitness. The advantage isn’t prediction. It’s how fast your leadership team can notice and anticipate change and respond.

It is not geopolitics. China is a strategy story

While much of the West is still treating AI as a productivity tool, China is treating the next decade as a full-stack industrial redesign. Its latest five-year blueprint pushes an “AI+” action plan and doubles down on frontier bets such as quantum, embodied AI, 6G and machine-brain interfaces, while tying them directly to industrial upgrading and advanced manufacturing.

Look at the direction of travel: biomanufacturing, embodied intelligence, advanced materials, smart industry, AI embedded across legacy sectors. This is not experimentation at the edges. It is a blueprint for industrial renewal.

The question is not whether China is right. The real question is whether you have a blueprint of your own. What are you building now that will still matter in 2030?
