Use #Mindcandy as a strategic sensing engine to help leadership teams identify the signals they are missing. It fuels the strategic conversation about what is next. DM “SESSION” if you want to find out more.
Physical AI just learned to touch, listen, and hide.
A robot with skin. A robot with no interface at all. A robot dressed as a cabinet. Three separate-looking signals are converging into one larger shift.
- First, machines are gaining a sense of touch. They are no longer limited to seeing and calculating. They can begin to feel pressure, contact, resistance and movement, making them more responsive in the physical world.
- Second, the distance between human intention and machine action is collapsing. If machines can be guided directly by brain signals, the interface starts to disappear. The command is no longer typed, clicked or spoken. It is thought.
- Third, robots are becoming softer, quieter and more domestic. They are being designed not as obvious machines, but as objects that blend into homes, workplaces and everyday life.
Put together, this is not just a robotics story. It is the emergence of embodied AI: machines that can sense the world physically, respond to human intention more directly, and integrate into ordinary environments with less friction. The strategic question is no longer whether robots will arrive. It is what happens when they become intuitive enough to work alongside us, invisible enough to be accepted, and capable enough to act in the physical world with increasing autonomy.

The leadership question
What happens to your business model, workforce and governance when machines stop being tools we operate and start becoming agents that sense, interpret and act around us?
The future fitness move
Run an embodied AI audit. Identify where in your organisation work depends on physical sensing, human intention, repetitive movement or environmental interaction
