The intelligence explosion should starting inside your business.
We normally associate an “intelligence explosion” with the technological singularity: machines becoming increasingly capable, potentially improving faster than humans can follow. But there is a more immediate version. AI alone does not create an intelligent enterprise. It needs trusted data, connected systems, AI-literate people, governance, and AI embedded into everyday decisions. Industrial companies are already moving from collecting data to building industrial intelligence: combining operational data, context, domain expertise, and AI so systems can predict, simulate, optimise, and support decisions.
Recursive intelligence
Put those pieces together, something interesting happens: Data → context → intelligence → decision → action → new data → better intelligence. That is a recursive intelligence loop. The organisation starts learning from every transaction, customer interaction, machine failure, project, experiment, and decision.
