I use the #Mindcandy as a strategic sensing engine to help leadership teams identify the signals they are missing, the assumptions they are protecting, and the moves they need to make before disruption becomes visible on the P&L. It fuels the strategic conversation about what is next. DM me “SESSION” if you want to find out more.
When the person becomes software
Training AI on someone’s biography, emails, statements, decisions, voice and recordings can now produce a digital clone that looks, sounds and responds like them—even after they have died. This is usually presented as a story about digital immortality, grief or preserving the legacy of famous people.
That misses the larger strategic signal. AI cloning means that identity, expertise and personality are becoming reproducible assets. A founder could continue representing a company after death. A retiring engineer’s knowledge could remain available. A salesperson’s voice and mannerisms could be deployed across thousands of customer conversations. Imagine a CEO’s digital twin.
Digital transformation is moving beyond automating what people do. It is beginning to replicate people. Now AI can create digital twins of people using their voice, writing, knowledge, behaviour and decision patterns. That could preserve expertise, extend leadership capacity and keep critical knowledge inside the organisation.
The leadership question
If your organisation could clone the knowledge, voice and decision patterns of its most important people, who would own and control those clones—and what would they be permitted to do?
The future fitness move
Create a digital identity and cloning policy before the technology becomes casually embedded in your organisation.

The Refactoring You Keep Deferring Is Not Technical Debt — It’s Architecture Risk
Architecture risk does not show up as daily friction. It shows up as a constraint that appears only when you try to do something the system was not designed for — and by the time it surfaces, you are usually in the middle of something that cannot easily be stopped.

Who will own the AI agent economy?
The economy of the future is not an economy where we say, ‘Let’s create agents for X,’”“It’s an economy where we instead say, ‘Let’s create X for agents.’” This inversion will lead to a sprawling new market infrastructure designed to take advantage of billions or trillions of AI agents.

The enterprise strikes back: Keep your data, ditch the AI bill.
Besides paying eye-watering tokens costs, enterprises are paying with their data as well, feeding information to the AI labs to create new, more intelligent models. Which they then sell back to the same enterprise customers.
