100-day service
In the last 3 months, we (Bernd Mintjes and I) had the pleasure of coaching a number of clients. Our promise is that we will help reach the goal that you would not be able to reach on your own. The approach is very simple:
- We do a quick analysis of your business model. We look for the predictability of results (so you can scale or sell your business).
- We agree on a goal together
- We make a plan together on how to achieve the goal
- We have a short individual call every week to tweak the approach
- After 100 days you have reached your goal
Does this always work?
Not always. We are at 75%. That means that a quarter does not reach the goal we agreed. There are a few lessons we learned from analysing why those clients do not reach their target. What can we learn to do better next time (there is always room for improvement) and what can we advise our clients? Our conclusions:
- Even more focus on the numbers, and particularly the connections between activity, cost and result.
- The ability of our clients to accept rhythm (doing some activities, consistently every week) and change some of their behaviour. No pain, no gain. Discipline is hard.
- We are business coaches, but we have seen that in a few cases, the problem is personal. Particularly limiting belief is a factor. If you do not believe in your abilities, how can others?
- Being strict (or grumpy) works.
New quarter, new clients
We are about to start our next quarter with new clients. We think 75% is not good enough. We want a higher success rate. That means that we need to be clearer, more decisive, and even more strict. Can you handle that?
